When the sun abandons the world, it's left in ruin. Economy crashes, the government falls apart, and it's practically the end of what little order there was to begin with. And in such a violent society, what's the best way to keep yourself floating? Assisting in petty murder, of course!

As expected of this sort of society, people hurt for the sake of hurting. People kill just for some cheap thrills. And when everybody is killing each other, they want it to be quick. Easy. They don't want to put effort in. That's where the Heartstoppers come in!

Disguised as a sweet, innocent candy shop, Heartstoppers specializes in tainting sweet treats and baked goods to help people who have been wronged get their revenge. They poison their milkshakes, stick needles in their cookies, whatever. Whatever the customer does with the goods is out of their hands. It's a great way to escape lawsuits, really. Y'know, not that they would be enforced anyway.
